John A. Gasior

John Gasior began his career with the law firm of Stringer, Stringer and Gasior as an associate with Stringer & Stringer in 1989. As an associate with this general practice firm, John gained valuable and extensive legal experience in preparing wills, deeds, real estate contracts, leases and the like. Between 1989 and 1999, much of John’s time was dedicated to negotiating pleas or gaining valuable trial experience in felony, misdemeanor and traffic (DUI-DUS) cases. Included among the felony cases were three “death penalty” cases. The balance of time was devoted to Injury cases primarily at the State and Federal level. John has also handled numerous Criminal and Civil appeals. In the latter part of the 1990s and early 2000s, John gained experience in the area of Domestic Relations.  

In 1997, John became a partner in the law firm of Stringer, Stringer & Gasior. In 2002, John’s practice became focused on Municipal Law when he was appointed Law Director of the City of Avon, one of Ohio’s fastest growing communities. He continues to hold this position today. As Law Director, he has an extensive background in the areas of Public Records, Employment, Zoning, Planning and Land Use law.

John is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University (1976). He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He entered the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1979. Completed his degree in December of 1983 and passed the Ohio Bar in May of 1984. He is licensed to practice by the Ohio State Supreme Court, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.

John is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Municipal Attorneys Association the Lorain County Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.  

Thomas C. Stringer

Tom is a St. Ignatius High School graduate, a Fordham University graduate where he played baseball and a Cleveland-Marshall College of Law graduate. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Lorain County Bar Association.

In 2011 the Ohio State Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Specialty Board certified Tom as a specialist in the practice of Workers’ Compensation Law.  Tom has maintained his certification ever since.  This certification places Tom in a small group of specialized workers’ compensation lawyers throughout the State of Ohio.
 
Tom takes pride in focusing his practice on fighting for injured workers to make sure they receive the compensation they deserve and medical treatment they need.  From the Firm’s convenient Lorain County location, Tom and his experienced team work together in handling every aspect of the client’s claim.  As Tom always tells clients: “All you have to worry about is getting better and recovering from the injury.  We’ll handle all the rest for you.”                                                     
Tom has also gained extensive experience handling personal injury cases from auto accidents to dog bites.  He’s been involved in a wide range of personal injury litigation. 
   
When he’s not representing clients with injuries, he writes wills and represents clients in the Probate Court process.     Tom enjoys spending time with his family, wife Jessica and children Kyle, Emily and Tommy. Tom is an enthusiastic golfer with a strong sense of community and faith.

Daniel P. Stringer

Daniel P. Stringer (Of Counsel) is an accomplished Trial Attorney with over 40 years of legal experience. He currently concentrates his practice in the areas of Personal Injury, Probate, and Elder Law. He has also gained experience over the years in the areas of Domestic Relations Law, Criminal Law, Traffic Law, Municipal Law and Appellate Practice.

Dan is a graduate of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He was admitted to the practice of law in 1963 and went on to serve as the Director of the Peace Corps in Ecuador from 1965 to 1967. He is licensed to practice law by the Ohio State Supreme Court, the District of Columbia and the Florida State Supreme Court. He is a member of the Ohio State, Florida State and Lorain County Bar Associations.

Mr. Stringer acted as Law Director for the city of Avon from January 1, 1994 through February 1, 2002. He has also served as acting Judge for the cities of Lakewood and Elyria . Currently, he serves as Magistrate for the City of Avon Mayor's Court.

Anthony R. Stringer (1935-2017)

Anthony R. Stringer (Of Counsel) was a former Administrator of the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation with over 30 years of experience fighting for the rights of workers injured on the job. He concentrated his practice in Workers' Compensation Law and Probate Law.

Tony served as a Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps from 1957to 1960. He graduated from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1967 and was admitted to the practice of law in November 1967. He is licensed to practice by the Ohio State Supreme Court and the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He was a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

Tony was a member of Cleveland City Council from 1967 to 1972. He formerly served as Deputy Administrator for the Cleveland office for the Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) and as Administrator for the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC).
